The answer on site, not on hold to the office.

The site brief the night before, the manual on site, the worksheet from the van.

For UK field service engineers, Centrus answers on WhatsApp from the van: tomorrow's jobs and the site history from BigChange, Joblogic or Simpro, fault codes and procedures from your manuals, and the parts on the van. Worksheets go in as voice notes, so nobody rings the office to ask.

Questions about engineers on site

No. Most use WhatsApp, which is already on the phone, and voice notes work as well as typing. Teams and the web app work too. Engineers only see the files their tags allow, so the rate card and pricing can stay with the office.

Your job system, the files on the job, manufacturer manuals and the procedures you have trained Centrus on. Each answer shows its source, so the engineer can open the page it came from. If nothing covers the question, it says so instead of guessing.

Only inside the rules you set. A typical setup sends anything under a limit straight to the supplier and emails anything over it to a manager to approve first. The rules live in an agent you describe in Agent Builder, so you can change the limit, the approver or the suppliers in a sentence.

No, unless you allow it. Tags decide which files each engineer can ask about, so the handbook and the procedures can be open to everyone while pay, pricing and personnel files stay with the office. In BigChange you can also limit which actions each person can take.

The engineer records a voice note on WhatsApp on the way out. Centrus writes it up as the worksheet in your format and puts it on the job in your job system, ready for the office to check. Nobody types it up at the end of the day.

Yes. Upload the manuals as PDFs or sync the folder they live in, and Centrus answers fault codes and checks from them, showing the page it used. Tag them by brand or trade so the engineer gets the manual for the kit in front of them.

WhatsApp sends the question once the phone is back in signal, and the answer waits in the same thread. Tomorrow's jobs and the site history arrive the night before, so the engineer has the brief before they reach a basement plant room.
