The part ordered, without ringing the office.

Partway through a field service job, the engineer asks for the part on WhatsApp. Centrus prices it from the supplier's list and raises the PO against the job. Under your limit it goes straight to the supplier; over it, the approver says yes first.

how it runs

Your rules, on every PO.

Dylan's pump went straight to Wolseley because it was under the limit. This is where that limit lives, and what happens over it.

Describe your PO rules once in Agent Builder: the limit, who approves, and where the PO goes.

before and after

The same part from the van, two ways.

A seized pump in the Kingsway Court plant room at 08:52, from the request to the PO with Wolseley.

  1. Asking for it

Without Centrus: A call to the office for a PO number

With Centrus: One WhatsApp message from the plant room

  2. The price

Without Centrus: Rung through to the supplier's counter

With Centrus: Priced from Wolseley's list at £172.00

  3. The limit

Without Centrus: Checked by whoever picks up the phone

With Centrus: Under £250, so straight to the supplier

  4. The record

Without Centrus: Written on the docket, typed up later

With Centrus: Raised on JOB/90218 before he leaves the plant room

questions

Questions about POs from the van

You do. The rules sit in an agent you describe in Agent Builder: the limit, the approver, and any rules for suppliers, job types or engineers. Change them in a sentence, and every run is logged.

The approver is emailed the part, the price, the job and who asked. The PO is raised and sent only after they reply yes, and the agent checks that nobody approves their own request.

On the job in BigChange, Joblogic or Simpro, or in Xero, so it is there when the supplier's invoice arrives. Centrus raises it in the system you already use rather than keeping a separate list.

From your supplier price lists, trained as files. The engineer sees the list price and the list it came from before saying yes, so nothing is ordered at a price nobody checked.

Yes. Once it is raised, the PO is emailed to the supplier for collection or delivery, and the engineer gets the number on WhatsApp to quote at the counter. It stays on the job, so finance sees it with the week's other POs.
