Ask

team

Past rulings, looked up, not re-argued.

Across a field service team, staff ask how something was ruled last time, from a free revisit to a second no-access. The answer comes from your decisions log, with who ruled and when. A new question goes to the manager once on WhatsApp, and the ruling is logged for everyone.

how it runs

Behind the ruling.

How a ruling already in the log is answered, how Dan is asked when there isn't one, and what the next person hears.

01

A ruling, looked up

Kate asks whether to charge Riverside Care. Their visits are read live and Dan's August ruling comes back with its date.

The ruling, with who and when

before and after

The same question, two ways.

Lewis at 9 Oak Road at 14:10, asked whether a revisit for the valve he fitted in August is free.

  1. The question

Without Centrus: Rings the office, who try to reach Dan

With Centrus: Asked on WhatsApp and checked against the log

  2. No ruling yet

Without Centrus: Dan answers it again, a little differently each time

With Centrus: Dan asked once, in one WhatsApp message

  3. The answer

Without Centrus: Passed on by word of mouth

With Centrus: Back to Lewis with who ruled and when

  4. Next time

Without Centrus: Argued again from the start

With Centrus: In the log for the desk and every engineer

questions

Questions about the decisions log

In a Word or PDF document in SharePoint, OneDrive, Google Drive or Dropbox, trained into Centrus like any other document. Answers from it show the log as their source, with who made the ruling and when.

Centrus says so and asks the manager once on WhatsApp. The answer goes back to the person who asked and is added to the log, so nobody has to ask the same question again.

Yes. Edit the entry in the log. After the next sync, answers quote the new ruling and its date, so the old one stops coming back. Keep the old entry with its end date if you want the history.

Tags decide which documents each person can use. A log of pricing rulings can stay with the desk and finance, while the rulings engineers need on site, like free revisits, sit in a log everyone can ask.
