Front Desk

scheduling

The van sets off, the customer knows.

When the engineer sets a field service job to travelling, Front Desk texts the customer from your number with who is coming and roughly when. Any reply goes on the job, so the engineer sees it before they arrive.

how it runs
Texted from your number when the engineer sets off.

how it runs

Built once, sent on every job.

Describe the texts once in Agent Builder, test them on a real job, then every job that goes to travelling sends one.

In one sentence, ask Agent Builder to text the customer when a job goes to travelling, and put any reply on the job.

questions

Questions about on-the-way texts

From where the van is and the address on the job. Van tracking is read from BigChange; on other job systems the text gives the engineer's name and the booked window instead. Either way the text says roughly when, not a promise to the minute.

Yes, from your business's number and in your name. Customers see who is coming and roughly when, and nothing else. You set what it says when you describe the agent in Agent Builder. Front Desk texts are job updates, never marketing.

The reply goes on the job, so the engineer and the desk both see it, and the engineer gets it on WhatsApp too. If the customer asks to rebook, the desk sees that on the job and picks it up.

The ones you choose when you describe it: every job, home visits only, or one client's sites. A facilities client may not want texts, and one sentence in Agent Builder leaves them out.
