reports

Last month's numbers, already in the sheet.

For a UK field service team, ask Centrus for last month and the workbook comes back in the chat. Or describe the report once in Agent Builder: on the 1st it reads the jobs from BigChange, Joblogic or Simpro and the invoices, and writes it in the format you already send, with anyone owing over 30 days flagged.

how it runs
Built once in Agent Builder, then runs on its own.

how it runs

Ask once, or have it every month.

Ask in chat when you need the numbers now. When the same report goes out every month, Agent Builder writes it on the 1st.

Ask for it in chat

Ask the way you'd brief a colleague. Centrus reads the jobs and invoices live and answers with the workbook.

before and after

The same monthly report, two ways.

Last month by client: jobs, invoiced, paid and anyone owing over 30 days.

  1. Who builds it

Without Centrus: A senior person's morning on the 1st

With Centrus: Written at 07:00 on the 1st by the agent

  2. The numbers

Without Centrus: Exports from the job system and Xero, matched by hand

With Centrus: Jobs and invoices read live, totalled by client

  3. Who owes

Without Centrus: The client over 30 days spotted late, if at all

With Centrus: Anyone owing over 30 days flagged in the first line

  4. When it arrives

Without Centrus: When someone has time to build it

With Centrus: In the inbox before the morning meeting

Other Excel reports they ask for

Same agent shape. A different sheet.

  • “PPM completed by site for Halden Housing, on the 1st.”
  • “Engineer hours against the plan, every Friday.”
  • “Mileage claimed against the van tracker, every month.”
  • “Client spend last month, reactive against planned.”

questions

Questions about Excel reports

No. Centrus writes the spreadsheet you already send, in the layout you already use. People still open it in Excel and work the way they do now. What stops is the export, the paste and the checking that used to take someone's morning on the 1st.

Yes. Name the columns when you describe the agent, or share last month's file and ask for the same layout. Agent Builder shows you the steps before it runs, and every month's workbook comes out the same, whoever asked for it.

No. The same report works with Joblogic or Simpro, and the invoices can come from Xero. Chat can write Google Sheets as well as Excel, and the file can land in OneDrive, SharePoint or Google Drive.

Access is set per person. Tags decide which documents and knowledge each person can use, and in BigChange each tool action can be allowed or blocked by role. Margin stays with the people you choose.

Every run is logged with the records it read and where the file went, so a figure can be traced back. Add an approval step and a named person checks the workbook before it's emailed to anyone outside the team.

Yes. Chat can return Excel, Word, PDF, PowerPoint or CSV, and an agent can write any of them on a schedule. Most monthly packs stay in Excel because that's where finance works, with a PDF summary for the client if they want one.
