Dashboard

The Dashboard is the home screen for admins, and the first item in the left menu. It shows this month's message credits, storage and seats, then the people on the organisation.

What the Dashboard shows

The Dashboard is the standard page for your organisation. It is not a tab inside Settings. Admins open it from the left menu, and it is the first thing they see after they sign in if they follow that item. It answers four questions: how many message credits the month has used, how full knowledge storage is, how many seats are taken, and who is on the organisation.

On a wide screen the page is three bands. Five figures sit across the top. Under them, Messages is a chart of credits by day, and Data overview is a ring of storage. Under that, Registered users lists everyone, newest first. On a phone the five figures stay, and the chart, the ring and the people list take turns in one swipe. That layout is covered under The Dashboard on a phone.

What a message credit is, and when the month resets, is in Credits and browser minutes. Plan names and the allowances behind the figures are in Plan and usage. How a file is counted in storage is in Upload files. Adding someone, or changing a role, is in Edit users and roles. A download of usage over a date range is in Reports. This guide is how to read the page itself.

Open the Dashboard

In the left menu, Dashboard is the first item, with a gauge icon. The page title is Dashboard. Under the title the line reads Welcome back, and then your name. John Martin, the organisation owner at Meridian FM, sees Welcome back, John Martin.

  2. 2The page title, Dashboard.
  3. 3Welcome back, followed by your name.

An admin here means the organisation owner as well as anyone whose user type is Admin. Anyone else does not see Dashboard in the menu. If they open the address anyway, they are sent to Chat.

There is no date control on the five figures. They always describe the current calendar month, from midnight at the start of the 1st. The only dates you can change are on the Messages chart.

The five figures

The top row is five cards. On a wide screen they sit in one line. On a narrower screen they wrap, two to a row. Each card is an icon, a value, and a label. While the plan is loading, the cards are placeholders. The figures below are Meridian FM on Large Team, read on 10/10/2026.

3
  1. 1Monthly Credits Used, message credits since the 1st, of the allowance.
  2. 2Average Messages/Day, that same total divided by today's date.
  3. 3Storage Used, knowledge storage of the plan limit.
4 of 20Active Users
1
Large TeamPlan Type
2
  1. 1Active Users, people on the organisation, of the seat limit.
  2. 2Plan Type, the name of the current plan.

Monthly Credits Used is message credits recorded since midnight at the start of the 1st, written as used of the allowance. Large Team includes 2,500 a month and Small Team includes 500. Extra message credits bought as an add-on sit on top of that number. The same count is labelled Monthly Messages on Billing. A reply that costs more than one credit adds more than one here, because each credit is its own record. A reply that fails before any answer is produced is not counted. Anything unused at the end of the month is not kept, and the next count starts at 00:00 on the 1st. The detail of what each reply costs is in Credits and browser minutes.

Average Messages/Day takes that same month-to-date total and divides it by today's date, which is the day of the month, then shows one decimal place. On 10/10/2026, 842 divided by 10 is 84.2. On the 1st the divisor is 1, so the average equals whatever has been recorded that day. It does not look ahead, and it does not follow the dates on the chart. The word on the card is messages. The number is credits.

Storage Used is knowledge storage against the plan limit, written with the unit tight to the number, such as 4.2GB of 10GB. Large Team includes 10 GB and Small Team includes 1 GB. A file counts once at its size, and once more for each extra tag, so a file with three tags counts three times. That is the same rule as on Billing. See Upload files.

Active Users is people on the organisation, of the seat limit. Large Team is 20 and Small Team is 5. The same pair appears again beside Registered users, written as 4 / 20 users. Buying another seat is an add-on, covered from Plan and usage.

Plan Type is the plan name, such as Large Team. It is a label, not a control. Changing plan is done from Billing.

The top card is the whole calendar month. The average divides that month by today's date. The Messages chart, further down, counts the same credits, but only inside the dates you have selected. A quiet week can sit well below the card.

Messages and storage

Under the cards, on a wide screen, two panels share the row. Messages is the wide one. Data overview is the narrow one. Both are hidden on a phone, where the swipe in the next section takes their place.

Messages opens on the last seven days, ending today. For a page read on 10/10/2026 that is 03/10/2026 to 10/10/2026. The range box writes each date as day, short month, year, such as 03 Oct 2026. You cannot clear the range. Pick another start and end and the line redraws. The vertical scale uses whole numbers. The line colour follows the organisation's secondary brand colour, or the standard blue when none is set.

  2. 2The date range. It opens on the last seven days and cannot be cleared.
  3. 3Hovering a point shows the day, the word Messages, and the count. Here, 140 on 09 Oct.

Each point is the number of message credits recorded on that day, the same records as Monthly Credits Used. A day with none is left off the line, so the line joins the days that have a count. In the figure, 05 Oct and 07 Oct had none, so they are not labelled. Hold the pointer on a point and a black box shows the day, the word Messages, and the count.

If the range you pick has no records, the panel does not draw an empty line. It shows No Data Available in the middle. Widen the dates, or move them into a month when people were using Centrus. The five cards above do not change when you do this. They stay on the current month.

  1. 1A range with nothing recorded. Here, the first week of January 2026.
  2. 2No Data Available, shown in place of the line.

Data overview is storage, not credits. The legend has two names. Uploaded is every file that did not come from a connected drive and is not a Teams document, which includes files added on Train, pages from a website, and text you pasted in. Integrations is files from a connected drive, and Teams documents. The coloured part of the ring is the share of the plan limit those sizes use, split between the two names in proportion. The rest of the ring is a faint track.

  3. 3Uploaded, files that are not from a connected drive and are not Teams documents.
  4. 4Integrations, files from a connected drive, and Teams documents.

The percentage uses each file's size once. It does not add the extra for a second or third tag. Storage Used does. On Meridian FM the card reads 4.2GB of 10GB, while the ring reads 32% used, because the extra tags are in the card and not in the ring. When you are deciding whether an upload will fit, trust the card, and the storage line on Billing. They follow the same rule.

Registered users

Under the charts, on a wide screen, is Registered users. It is the same list as Edit users, opened from here so you can see seats and people without leaving the page. Adding someone, bulk import, and what each role allows are in Edit users and roles. This section is how to read the list, open a person, and remove one.

  2. 2Search users... Matches first name, last name, email or position.
  3. 3Admin is blue. User, and Super-Admin for the owner, are green.
  4. 4The row menu. View, Edit and Delete.

Beside the heading, the seat line reads used, a slash, the limit, then the word users. For Meridian FM that is 4 / 20 users. Those two numbers are the same pair as Active Users.

Search users... matches first name, last name, email or position. The list waits about half a second after you stop typing, then reloads from the first page. People are newest first. Thirty load at a time, and the next thirty load as you scroll. A search that matches nobody leaves the table empty. The sentence No users found is only on the phone list.

  • Employee ID is the number shown for that person.
  • Employee name is the name, with position underneath. A person with no position has a blank line there.
  • User type is Admin in blue, or User in green. The organisation owner is labelled Super-Admin, in green.
  • Tag is that person's tags, in alphabetical order, or No tags.
  • Messages sent is a running total of message credits recorded for that person. It is not this month, and it is not a count of conversations. Monthly Credits Used is the monthly figure. Priya Shah can show 41 while the organisation shows 842 this month, because her 41 is her own running total and the card is everyone's credits since the 1st.

Click a row, or View on the row menu, to open Employee details. Edit opens the same edit window as Edit users. Delete is separated by a line and shown in red.

Employee details is a window, not a new page. The title is Employee details. Under the name, the position is shown, or a hyphen when none is stored. Contact information is phone, email and address. A missing phone or address is a hyphen. Employee information is three lines: Admin, Train access and Agent access, each Yes or No. Admin is Yes only when the user type is Admin. Data access tag lists the tags, or No tags. Default tag shows the tag, or Not set. Team memberships names each team, how many members it has, and Team Leader or Member. Someone in no team sees Not a member of any teams.

Edit employee is the place to change a role, Train access, agent access or tags. The fields are the same as on Edit users, so use Edit users and roles for what each one does. Teams themselves are set up in Teams.

Delete opens a window titled Delete Employee. The text is Are you sure you want to delete employee? This action cannot be undone. Cancel closes it. Delete removes the person. On success a note reads Success, with Employee deleted! underneath. The list then reloads.

The Dashboard on a phone

On a phone the five cards wrap to two columns. The wide chart row and the Registered users table are not shown. In their place, one card swipes between three titles: Messages, Data overview and Team Members. Arrows on either side move you on, and so do the three dots underneath. The first dot is the one you are on.

  2. 2The dates. Tap the pill to set Start date and End date, then Done.
  3. 3The three dots. The filled dot is the panel you are on.

On Messages, the panel does not repeat the word Messages inside the chart, because the swipe title already says it. The dates are a pill with a calendar icon. Tap it and you get Start date, End date, and Done. Done closes the picker. The line is the same credits-by-day chart as on the wide page, including No Data Available when the range is empty.

Data overview is the same ring, with Uploaded, Integrations, and the percentage in the middle.

Team Members is a different list from Registered users. The search reads Search users by name, email, or position... and it searches as you type. A line such as 4 users total sits on the right, or 1 user total when there is one person. Each row is a photo, the name, the position, the email, and a badge reading Admin, User or Super-Admin. A gear on the row opens Edit. There is no View, no details window, and no Delete on this list. Twenty people fit on a page. When there is more than one page you get Page 1 of 2, Previous and Next. A search that matches nobody shows No users found, and, if you typed something, Try adjusting your search terms.

To delete someone, or to read Employee details, use a wider screen. The phone list is for finding a person and opening Edit.

Messages you might see

These are the messages on the page. Plan changes, a full seat limit, and a full storage limit are described from the pages that block the action: Plan and usage and Upload files.

Who can do what

Seeing the page and changing a person are both limited to admins. The organisation owner counts as an admin for this page.

See Dashboard in the menu, and open the pageAdmins, including the organisation owner
Open the address without being an adminThe menu item is hidden, and the address sends you to Chat
Change the dates on MessagesAnyone who can open the page
Search the list, and open Employee detailsAnyone who can open the page, on a wide screen

Delete a personAdmins, from the row menu on a wide screen. The phone list does not offer Delete
Change the plan, the allowances, or buy seats and storageAdmins, from Billing. See Plan and usage

A person who is not an admin cannot open this page to check the month. When Chat refuses them because credits have run out, the practical step is to ask an admin to read Monthly Credits Used, or Monthly Messages on Billing. They are the same count.
