bigchange + excel

Month-end in Excel, without the copy and paste.

BigChange already downloads reports and job lists as Excel files. Centrus writes the finished workbook: ask in chat for last month's jobs, or describe the report once and an agent writes it from BigChange on the 1st, in the format you already send.

What BigChange exports, and what Centrus adds

Keep BigChange's own exports. Centrus works across both systems, on the work that still falls to someone in the office.

BigChange's own exports

  • Reports built in BigChange download as XLSX or CSV, with number and date formatting kept.
  • Spreadsheet tabs in the reporting work on live data and download as XLSX.
  • The group jobs list exports to CSV or XLSX, with blueprints to set the columns.

What Centrus adds

  • A workbook from a sentence in chat, built from BigChange jobs and saved to OneDrive.
  • The monthly pack written by an agent on the 1st, in the layout finance already expects.
  • Completed jobs with no invoice, emailed to finance as a workbook on the 1st.
  • Claimed mileage matched against BigChange tracker journeys, with the gaps in a sheet.

Checked on 28/10/2026 against BigChange report downloads and BigChange group job export.

how one runs

Last month's unbilled work, found on the 1st

One agent, described once in Agent Builder. Finance opens a workbook instead of a filter.

01

On the 1st at 07:00

The agent reads every job completed in BigChange during the month before.

02

Each job checked

Every completed job is checked for an invoice, and the ones without an invoice are kept.

03

A workbook of the gaps

The unbilled jobs are listed in an Excel workbook by customer and by value.

04

Emailed to finance

It goes to finance from Outlook, so the work done last month is billed this month.

setup

Two connections, each made once

Each system connects on its own card in Integrations. Agents keep their own connection, so a scheduled run never depends on one person staying signed in.

Connect BigChange

In Integrations, open BigChange REST and paste three keys from your BigChange account: Customer ID, Client ID and Client secret. Centrus checks them before saving.

How to connectThe BigChange setup

Connect Excel

Each person clicks Connect on the Microsoft Excel card and signs in with Microsoft. Chat then works on the workbooks in that person's OneDrive. If your Microsoft 365 asks for approval, IT approves Centrus once.

questions

BigChange and Excel questions

You can, and for a one-off list that is often quickest. Centrus is for the report someone rebuilds every month: it reads the jobs, does the matching and the layout, and sends the finished workbook, so the export, the formulas and the email are no longer anyone's job.

In chat, it is saved to the OneDrive of the person who asked and shared in the reply. An agent can save it to a set folder, such as the month-end folder, or attach it to an email to finance or to a client.

Yes. Describe the columns, or ask about the workbook you already send and ask for the same again from last month's jobs. Check the first few in OneDrive, so the columns match the pack finance expects.

No. A reporting agent reads jobs, invoices and journeys and writes the workbook. It only uses the steps you give it, so nothing in BigChange changes unless you add a step that does.
