Who prices first wins the job.

Lewis is at 9 Oak Road, and Mr Patel wants a new consumer unit. For a UK field service team, the price comes from your rate card in chat, line by line. Anything over £1,000 waits for Dan, then it goes out as your branded PDF or onto the job in BigChange, Joblogic or Simpro.

Questions about quoting in chat

Your prices. Centrus reads the rate card you connect, including weekend and London weightings, and shows the lines it used. If the work isn't on the rate card, it asks rather than guessing a number.

Only if you let them. Tags decide which documents each person can use, so the engineer in the van can price from the rate card without ever seeing margin, cost prices or director rates.

Either, or both. Centrus writes the quote as a PDF on your own letterhead, creates it on the job in BigChange, Joblogic or Simpro, or raises it in Xero. Say which in chat, or set a default once.

Yes. Write the rule into the pricing notes Centrus is trained on, and a quote over your line stays a draft until the named person says send. In Agent Builder, an approval step holds it until someone approves it from the Runs panel or by email.

Update the rate card where it already lives, in SharePoint, OneDrive or Google Drive. Train re-syncs the folder on the interval you choose, from every hour to every 48 hours, and the next price uses the new figures.
