The pack in Dropbox, answered from the van.

Centrus integrates with Dropbox for UK field service businesses. The shared pack you keep in Dropbox, kept current on Train and answered from site. Your files stay in Dropbox.

start with these

The RAMS on the van is last year's copy, and the current one is in Dropbox.

Open Root on Train, tick the folders you already share and set the re-sync. Engineers ask about the RAMS on WhatsApp and get the file that is in Dropbox now. The office checks a client's access notes or the current drawing without opening a folder.

    The RAMS, answered from site

An engineer asks on WhatsApp and gets the method from the RAMS in Dropbox now, not the copy in the van.

Client access notes, without the folder

Booking a visit, the office asks on Teams and gets the site's access notes from the client folder in Dropbox.

    Drawings, from the current revision

Ask which revision is current and what changed. The answer comes from the latest one synced from Dropbox.

setup

Where the shared pack already lives

An administrator sets this up once. Everyone else starts asking.

01

Connect Dropbox

In Train, Integrations, click Connect on the Dropbox card and sign in. The badge changes to Connected. Centrus only uses the folders or files you tick next.

How to connect

02

Choose and tag files

Open Root, tick what you already share, and sync. On Files, put H&S or Clients on those files so the right people can ask. On Active Syncs pick 1, 2, 4, 8, 24 or 48 hours.

Tags and who sees what

03

Start asking

Start asking in chat, WhatsApp or Teams. When a file changes in Dropbox, the next sync brings the new one in. Nobody re-uploads it.

what it covers

What Centrus can read from Dropbox

Train is how a folder becomes knowledge. Ask works in chat on the web, WhatsApp and Teams, against what you have synced. Change here means the sync itself. Dropbox stays the place files are edited.

No write-back from chat

This connection reads Dropbox. It does not upload from chat or from Agent Builder. If you want files written back into a drive, that is OneDrive or Google Drive. Tag Dropbox files on Files after you sync them.

questions

Dropbox questions

It keeps your company knowledge in step with the folders you already keep in Dropbox. On Train you open Root, tick Clients, Health and Safety or whatever you already share, tag the files, and turn on automatic re-sync. People ask in chat, WhatsApp or Teams and get the current file.

The Train job is the same: tick folders, keep them current, ask against them. Dropbox is for teams whose shared pack still lives there. It does not write files back from chat or Agent Builder. Tag new files on Files. OneDrive can set a default tag on the sync itself.

No. Dropbox stays where the shared pack lives. Train reads the folders you tick from Root and re-syncs them on the schedule you set. This connection only reads, so nothing in Dropbox is moved, renamed or overwritten.

That AI only sees what lives inside Dropbox. It does not see your job system, your inbox, your client portals or anything else running the business day to day. Centrus sits across everything you use, so it is not limited by what one vendor decided to build.

Not today. This connection reads Dropbox into Train. If you want chat or an agent to put a receipt, a photo or a finished report away, connect OneDrive or Google Drive, which can save files back as well.

No. The tree starts at Root, and you tick the folders or files you want, such as the job packs and the RAMS library. Centrus only uses what you select, with the tag you set deciding who can ask about it.

No. Your data is not used to train AI models, and training is switched off on our AI provider account. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is set per person through tags and roles.

Dropbox comes with every plan, from £299.99 a month. Synced files count against plan storage. Chat uses message credits. A re-sync that finds nothing new does not start a chat. Plans run month to month, with no lock-in, and paying annually saves 20%.See full pricing
